Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank and the year ‘1879’, engraved on the ribbon. In circumference are written the texts: ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), the nominal value of the coin ‘5 ЛЕВА’ (5 BGN), and the year of issue ‘2007’.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features a pattern of a Bulgarian carpet coloured in red, yellow, brown and green. In circumference are inscribed the texts ‘БАГРИ ОТ ПРИРОДАТА’ (HUES FROM NATURE) and ‘КИЛИМАРСТВО’ (CARPET MAKING).
