Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the logo of the Bulgarian National Bank with the year ‘1879’ written on the ribbon. In circumference is the wording ‘БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА’ (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), the nominal value of the coin ‘5 ЛЕВА’ (5 LEVS) and the year of issue ‘2006’.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features a grape cluster with three leaves, a coloured vessel of wine and a stylised singing bird. In circumference is the wording ‘ВКУСЪТ НА СЛЪНЦЕТО’. (THE TASTE OF THE SUN).
