Obverse
On the obverse of the 5 hryvnias coin above there is engraved the Small National Emblem of Ukraine, below - the inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ/ БАНК/ УКРАЇНИ/ 2006/ 5/ ГРИВЕНЬ (National Bank /of Ukraine/ 5/ hryvnia/ 2006); the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and the coin face value are enframed in conventionalized flowers. The logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint is placed on both coins
Reverse
On the reverse of both coins there is a column base, as a symbol of law, enframed in conventionalized ornament pattern, there are engraved the following inscriptions: КОНСТИТУЦІЯ/ УКРАЇНИ (Constitution of Ukraine) above the column and 28/ ЧЕРВНЯ/ 1996 (28/June/ 1996 ) on the ribbon crossing the column.
