Description:
Obverse
The obverse of the coin features the remaining part of the cover of Francysk Skaryna’s Ruthenian Bible. In the centre against an ornate background – Vytis, the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, at the top – inscription LIETUVA, on the left – coin denomination (€20), on the right – the date of issue of the coin (2017). The logo of the Lithuanian Mint is impressed on the right-hand side of the obverse of the coin.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features part of the cover of Francysk Skaryna’s Ruthenian Bible, at the bottom – inscription PRANCIŠKAUS SKORINOS RUSĖNIŠKOJI BIBLIJA 500.
