Description:
Obverse
On the coin obverse there is depicted the small National Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with cranberry sprays. Above the Emblem there is the year of coin issue -1996. Around the coin circumference there is the inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine). Under the National Emblem there is a two line inscription: ДВІ ГРИВНІ (2 hryvnia)
Reverse
On the coin reverse there are depictions of change coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 Kopiyka - and 1 Hryvnia denominations. Above there is a two line iscription: МОНЕТИ УКРАЇНИ (Coins of Ukraine)
