At the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center – a circumferential inscription of the series’ name: ПРАВОСЛАВНЫЕ СВЯТЫЕ (ORTHODOX SAINTS); beneath – the image of the restoration of the Saviour’s Transfiguration church in Polotsk against the background of the ornament; on the left – denomination: 50 РУБЛЁЎ (50 RUBLES); and on the right – the year of issue, alloy standard, and trademark of the Mint of Poland PLC.
Reverse
At the top – a circumferential inscription of the Saint’s name: ПРЕПОДОБНЫЙ СЕРАФИМ САРОВСКИЙ (SAINT SERAPHIM OF SAROV); and in the center – the image of St Seraphim of Sarov against the background of the ornament used in iconography (inlaid with four synthetic crystals).
