Description:
Obverse
On the obverse, the effigy of His Majesty the King Don Felipe VI is reproduced. In the lower part of the coin, the common brand adopted by the countries that issue coins dedicated to the Europe Program and occupying the bottom of the coin a five-pointed star.
Reverse
The reverse reproduces three motifs framed in ovals. The superior contains an image of the Palacio de Cristal, located in the Parque del Retiro of Madrid; the right, a photograph, from the Moreno Archive (Photo Library of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain, MECD), of the portrait of the Galician writer Rosalía de Castro drawn by Antonio Portal; and in the lower left oval, an image of the replica of the Mataró locomotive, exhibited in the Railway Museum of Catalonia, in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
