Reverse
Designed according to the European Council conclusion on 17 October 2006, displays in the middle the signature page in the Treaty of Rome, superposed over Michelangelo's design of the Capitol Square pavement and the inscriptions "EUROPA" and "50 ANI"; on the outer ring, in the upper and lower parts, the inscriptions "TRATATUL DE LA ROMA" and "25 MARTIE 1957" respectively.
