General Francisco Villa mounted on a horse, with Generals Felipe Ángeles and Pánfilo Natera, central figures in the Taking of Zacatecas. Below, the silhouette of the top of the mountain of La Bufa (cerro de La Bufa), a strategic vantage point for the ongoing battle to gain control of the city.
