The obverse of the coin depicts the BNB logo with the years ‘1879’ and ‘2004’ written on the strip. In circumference are: the inscription ‘BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK’, the nominal value of the coin ‘125 levs’ and the year of issue ‘2004’.
Reverse
The reverse depicts a replica of a silver coin from the Principality of Bulgaria and the inscription ‘125 YEARS BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK’.
