Description:
Obverse
There is a depicted a stranded twine with a floral ornament, separating the pectoral tiers. Inside it there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the year of coin issue (2003), as well as inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 100 ГРИВЕНЬ,(Ukraine/ 100/ hryvnia ), the designation of the metal, its fineness and its weight in fineness .On the coin obverse there is also the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse
Against the background of a Scythian kurgan there is the pectoral depiction with magnified fragments of the top tier. Above the pectoral there is a mare with a foal, beneath - two men stretching an animal skin.
