Description:
Obverse
On the obverse there is depicted Simferopol's main railway station being the 'visiting card' of the city; above there are: the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the legends thereunder: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine), 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 hryvnias), 2009 and the logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint (on the right).
Reverse
On the reverse against the background of the city development plan of 1768 there are depicted two architectural monuments of the XXth century beginning, the city coat of arms between them and the legends thereunder: 225/РОКІВ (years) within the laurel wreath and СІМФЕРОПОЛЬ (Simferopol) below, bow-shaped.
