Obverse
150th anniversary of birth of a renowned Ukrainian authoress, one of the most educated women of the 19th century who fought for the women`s rights.
Above there is the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) with the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine Mint mark thereunder; to the left there is represented a fragment of Olha Kobylianska`s letter to Lesya Ukrainka against the background whereof there are depicted an inkpot and a pen; below there is the legend 2 ГРИВНІ / 2013 (2 hryvnias / 2013).
Reverse
Against the background of the fragment of Olha Kobylianska`s letter to Lesya Ukrainka (to the left) there is a portrait of the penwoman with indication of the years of her life 1863/1942; above there is the semicircular inscription ОЛЬГА КОБИЛЯНСЬКА (Olha Kobylianska).
