Description:
Obverse
On the coin obverse in the circle made of a string of beads there is engraved the small National Emblem of Ukraine with the year of coin issue above it - 2003. There are the circular inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (Ukraine) 2003 (above), 2 ГРИВНІ (2/ Hryvnia/ (beneath), as well as Ag 925, the designation of the metal, its fineness and 31.1, the coin weight in fineness. There is also the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse
On the coin reverse there is the salamander depiction, around which there are circular inscriptions: САЛАМАНДРА (salamander) and SALAMANDRA.
