The design shows 10 flying swallows which form a circle. At the lower half, in semi-circle, the inscription ‘10 LET SKUPNE EVROPSKE VALUTE’. At the top left the inscription ‘SLOVENIJA 2017’. Between the inscriptions is engraved a dot. The coin’s outer ring bears the 12 stars of the European Union.
