Obverse
In the center – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and at the bottom – the denomination: 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE); along the rim – the stylized wreath of leaves and flowers of cornflower and clover representing the inflorescence of crafts closely intertwined to form the endlessness of a circle as a symbol of longevity and happiness; on the left side – the year of issue.
Reverse
In the center, against the background of a stylized Belarusian rural scene, – the representation of a pitcher filled with water with the images of a woman carrying pails to the left and cottages to the right of it; and at the top – a circumferential inscription: ГАНЧАРСТВА (POTTERY).
