Obverse
The relief image showing the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus in the circle surrounded by the geometrical ornament; in the center – the solar sign comprising an octagonal geometric pattern with the decorative elements which is symbolizing the rays of the sun; beneath – the year of issue; and circumferential inscriptions: at the top – РЭСПУБЛИКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and at the bottom – АДЗІН РУБЕЛЬ (ONE RUBLE).
Reverse
In the center – the interior of a village hut in which the table was set to pray for the dead; at the top – two angels that are holding a candle over the entrance to the hut; on the left, right, and at the top – relief elements of the Belarusian national ornament with the motives of the Soul; and at the bottom – a circumferential inscription: ДЗЯДЫ (DZYADY).
