In the central part of the coin disc from the left to the right - the fragment of a manuscript document, on its background to the right - the relief image of the figure of Ekaterina II and the upper part of the pedestal of the monument to the empress erected in Saint Petersburg; to the left above - the date in two lines written in cursive: "декабря 23 1786" (on December 23, 1786), on the lower sector of the coin disc divided by a horizontal line - the picture of a goose-quill and the facsimile signature of Ekaterina II, the circular inscription along the rim: "225-ЛЕТИЕ СО ДНЯ ОСНОВАНИЯ ПЕРВОГО РОССИЙСКОГО СТРАХОВОГО УЧРЕЖДЕНИЯ" (THE 225TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING THE FIRST RUSSIAN INSURANCE INSTITUTION).
