The portraits of scientists against the background of the University of St. Petersburg, under every of them — the corresponding initials with the surname: «А.А.УХТОМСКИЙ» (A.A.UKHTOMSKY), «В.И.СМИРНОВ» (V.I.SMIRNOV), «В.А.ФОК» (V.A.FOCK), «Д.И.МЕНДЕЛЕЕВ» (D.I.MENDELEYEV), at the bottom — the emblem of the University.
