Obverse

The inscription along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin "ДВА РУБЛЯ" (TWO ROUBLES) and the year of issue "2013 г.", between them - the indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the purity, the trade mark of the Moscow Mint and the fine precious metal content.
Reverse
The relief image of the composer A.S. Dargomyzhsky against the background of the opera scene "The Mermaid". The inscriptions are: at the bottom-"А.С. ДАРГОМЫЖСКИЙ" (A.S. DARGOMYZHSKY)" and the dates "1813-1869" in two lines.
