A Soviet and two Polish soldiers holding the Polish flag against the background of war-ravaged Warsaw, the inscriptions along the rim separated by two dots: at the top - "ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЕ ЕВРОПЫ ОТ ФАШИЗМА" (THE LIBERATION OF EUROPE FROM FASCISM), at the bottom - "ВАРШАВА 17.01.1945 г." (WARSAW 17.01.1945).
