In the lower part, the entrance to Suceava, the-then capital city of Moldavia, and the inscriptions "CETATEA DE SCAUN A SUCEVEI" and "ROMANIA"; in the upper part, the face value of "100 LEI", Romania's Coat of Arms and the year of issue "2007".
Reverse
In the middle, the portrait of Ştefan cel Mare standing in front of the throne; on the outer ring, the circular inscriptions "550 ANI DE LA URCAREA PE TRON", "STEFAN CEL MARE" and the years in power "1457-1504".
