On the central part- on the background of a sun, a stork with a bunch of grapes, the inscription"100 LEI "; on the upper part ,on the circle -the inscriptions "PROCLAMAREA INDEPENDENŢEI", "1991"are engraved in block letters; on the bottom part - a popular ornament and the year "1996".
