As main motive in center field,a representation of the distinctive bracelet worn during the plan activationwith the legend “50 AÑOS PLAN DN-III-E” and two emblems; one for the army and the other for the air force. Flanking the bracelet the commemorative dates 1966 and 2016; around in semicircle the legend “SECRETARÍA DE LA DEFENSA NACIONAL” above and “EJÉRCITO Y FUERZA ÁREA MEXICANOS” bellow, this encircled with an stylized cord.
On the outer ring; value in lettering at top, and in number at bottom. With mint mark at right.
