Obverse
An eagle of the Empire spread out, haloed, posed of three quarters, holding the quartered shield of Austria, modern Burgundy with the compony border, old Burgundy and Brabant, with a shield of Flanders placed in the heart. Legend beginning with a crown, between two pearled circles.
Reverse
Luxemburgish shield with lion rampant to the left on a field burel laid on a small cross with indented ends. Between the extremities are four triangular ornaments, contiguous to the inner girdle. Legend between two pearled circles.
