Large eagle with outstretched wings, head to the left, dividing the legend at 12 o'clock. The talons hold a quartered coat of arms of Bavaria-Palatinate on the right and on the left the Luxembourgish shield with the rampant lion crawlingon a field of six pieces. The two crowns divide the legend. Legend between two pearled circles.
Reverse
Leafy, triple-veined, long cross, dividing the legend and surrounded by a double-veined quadrilobe, decorated with outward-angled leaves and rosettes with re-entrant angles. Legend between two pearled circles.
