Obverse
Horseman galloping to the left holding a sword with his right hand and covering himself with a shield with the Luxembourg lion on his left hand. The legend is written upside down and begins near the horse's hind legs. The S, separated from the rest of the legend, lies near the head of the horse. The whole is surrounded by an outer ring of pearls.
Reverse
Castle topped by a crenellated donjon, surmounted by a watchman's head on the right. To the left of the tower is a fleur-de-lis, on the right a small cross. The legend begins on the left side of the castle.
