Stylized coat-of-arms of the Republic of Lithuania, andfragments of barricades in the centre, inscriptions on bariricades LAISVĖS TROŠKIMO TANKAIS NESUTRAIŠKYSI (tanks can't crush desire for freedom), LIETUVA TEVYNE MŪSŲ (Lithuania our dear homeland), ŽŪSIM KAD GYVENTUME (gonna die that we may live); the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) is arranged in a semicircle above them; the respective denominations 25 LITAI (25 litas) are placed at the bottom.
Reverse
