A picture of the European Mink, with the numeral 1 and inscription LATS underneath, is centred on the coin. The inscription MUSTELA LUTREOLA (European mink) is placed in a semicircle above the central motif, whereas the numeral 1 and inscription LATS are placed beneath it.
