Marking the centennial anniversary of the Hungarian Scout Association, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank issued this base metal collector coin with a fitting 100 forint denomination. The Association was officially founded at 28 December 1912, while the first groups in Hungary have already been formed two years before. The coin has a special dodecagonal shape, which is unique in the history of the modern forint collector coins. (Only the Millennium anniversary base metal coins issued in 2000 are similar, but not the same as they are heptagonal.) The official logo of the organisation is depicted on the obverse.
