Obverse
Crowned bust to left. B.M. (=Bertram Mackennal) in relief on the truncation and in a circle the inscription: GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND:IMP:
Reverse
A crowned schield of arms which divides the dates. The crown rests on a scroll inscribed CYPRUS and the value is set out in words (NINE PIASTRES) around the lower edge of the design.
